Quantitative Genotyping Analysis:

Pyrosequencing technology offers the unique advantage over other genotyping methods of providing quantitative measurements of every allele. This property makes it a good choice for SNP genotyping in DNA pools for association/linkage analysis studies and for loss of heterozygosity studies. Additional application areas include gene copy determination and analysis of mutations in mixed populations in tumor and normal cells.
